Bullshit New Leaf They say there helping families and changing lives, well that's a bunch of bullshit
In the world today there are a great deal of people that
have mental disabilities and behavioral disabilities and there are several
places that one can go to get help with these problems, and they do just that
there attitudes are in a positive light and they bend over backwards to help whomever
asks for the help. In doing the research I have found several that are bullshit
and the people that go to these places for help; end up even more worse off than
when they walked through the doors.
In this type of business you have to have a go getter help
as much as you can pleasant attitude when working for one of these places. if
you do not possess this type of spirit or attitude that portrays love and
understanding as well as the willingness to help anyone who comes through the
doors, starting off with a smile, then you have absolutely no reason being in
this type of work. Now in some places
that I have researched there are a few in the office that have the shittiest attitudes
on the planet and then there are those that have pleasant ones. But there are
those that I found that don’t have one single person that possesses a positive attitude,
they seem like they don’t want to be there let alone help people. I will mention
these places in a little bit.
I know someone with a mental disability and this person
needs positive reinforcement all the time so that she can make it through the
day without having a breakdown. I also have a son that is autistic and he is on
the extreme spectrum of this and has major behavior issues and he needs help
with these problems. So an appointment was set to have him evaluated and when
we arrived the people in the front office were talking about things that were
not related to the job and pretty much just ignored me. After about 10 minutes
of trying to keep my son in the lobby because he is a very free spirit and
wants to check everything out. they call me up to the front desk and ask me why
I’m there. I told her that we were there for my autistic son to be evaluated. She
then said do you have shot records birth cert. and tax documents showing your sons
S.S. number, I had everything but tax documents I had his S.S. number but that
was not good enough so she said we need to reschedule. Now under normal circumstances
I would not have a problem with this but her attitude towards me was that of a
demeaning look down upon belittling manner. She never once smiled in fact no
one in that office even greeted me or anyone else in that office with a smile
the feeling of that place was dark and uncaring. It seemed as if all the people
there were there for a check on Friday and that’s it. No one in those offices gave
two shits about anyone in that office NO ONE!!
How can someone with mental issues and behavior problems get
any help from places like this?
I know someone that goes to these places for her bipolar
issues and she calls them for a legitimate reason concerning her mental health.
She was asking for someone to set up some counseling because one of her family
members had passed away and needed the counseling. Days go by weeks go by and
now after calling them several times on this issue months have gone by and
still no counseling. Some of these places have had their clients commit suicide
because of this problem. How can you be in business with such a sensitive nature
like behavior health and mental issues and not get back to these people that
are crying out for help.
In closing I will tell you this, these places either need to
closed or everyone in those offices needs to be retrained or even fired. Now; a person with
a problem such as the ones I have mentioned should not have to endure this type
of neglect. In the case of my son I will never step foot in those buildings
again how can these places say that there helping families and changing lives
when the fact is there making the problems worse. I will not stop until these
places have been restructured I will have every last one of these rotten places
shut down if it’s the last thing I do. Now I'm sure you would like to know the
